Whether you're a new user or just need a refresher, Voicebrook offers comprehensive training on all aspects of VoiceOver PRO. We cover everything from the basics to advanced dictation practices, ensuring you get the most out of our pathology reporting software.
What can you expect from our training? Read on to find out!
Voicebrook training is customized to address your laboratory's specific needs and concerns, and we treat every person as an individual. You can't expect every user in your lab to learn at the same pace or need the exact same type of training, so we tailor every training session to the individual.
Voicebrook training usually covers the basics, including:
If you choose to do remote training, we'll send you a link to an online calendar so you can pick an available training date. Then, we'll send a confirmation email and a reminder with instructions on how to join the meeting.
Voicebrook generally uses Zoom or MS Teams for remote training. If you can't use either of those options, let us know and we'll find another way. Please set aside at least two hours for training. You don't need a webcam, but we will ask you to share your screen.

User Setup. User setup training includes learning how to change or update your password, and guidelines for proper microphone placement and calibration to ensure accurate dictation. We will also go over the steps to import your custom vocabulary for enhanced dictation accuracy.
User Training. Our training ensures users are fully prepared to navigate and utilize the Voiceover PRO system with ease. Key training topics include:
Launching PRO & Toolbar Review: Detailed instructions for starting the application and navigating the toolbar.
VO Icon & Microphone Status: How to dock the toolbar, manage microphone settings, and troubleshoot issues.
Information Window/Status Icon: Understanding user login information and the status log for troubleshooting purposes.
Recognition Tab: Calibrating microphones and using the vocabulary editor.
Preferences Tab: Customizing user-specific settings.
Tools Tab: Utilizing active commands, the Report Builder, templates, and the CAP Checklist.
Additional Help Tab: Accessing support resources and additional help.
Report Builder, QCG, & Sample Dictation: Comprehensive review of the Report Builder and sample dictation practices.
Workflow Review. During the workflow review training, we will access and observe your workflow to assess your process and solve any problems. This ensures that users can log into PRO and the AP system and understand the workflow. This workflow review will be conducted with a test or live case.
Tips/Tricks/Best Practices. We love to share the tips and tricks that elevate your user experience! During training we will implement the Audio Setup Wizard to improve speech recognition accuracy. We’ll also be sure to check your settings to select and set up the correct default microphone input device. Even though you’re working on the best-in-the-industry speech recognition engine, inevitably you’ll experience a few dictation errors, especially at first. Users are often surprised that they can train the system to correct misrecognized words or phrases. During training we’ll go over the techniques for training and managing vocabulary for better dictation results.
