New AI Features: Coming Soon!

New AI Features: Coming Soon!

At Voicebrook, we continue to innovate and improve the pathology reporting process by leveraging Generative AI (GenAI). In July, we unveiled DraftDiagnosis, a first-of-its-kind generative AI feature to support pathologists in summarizing diagnoses in cancer case reports. But we're not stopping there!

By the end of 2024, Voicebrook is releasing two new GenAI-powered features designed to streamline workflows and make the reporting process more efficient for pathologists, technicians, and PAs. Here’s a peek at what’s to come.

Draft Procedure Line Feature

Building on Voicebrook's previous AI advancements, the Draft Procedure Line feature will draft the procedure line for pathologists, primarily based on the gross description. It can also pull information from the Anatomic Pathology (AP) system if available. The procedure line includes the Specimen, Location, and Procedure, which can be prone to errors when creating since it often requires restating information that already exists elsewhere in the system. By automating this step, pathologists can avoid unnecessary repetition and reduce the risk of errors, ensuring more accurate and efficient reporting.

This new feature is especially beneficial for pathologists who haven't fully built out their diagnosis templates or don’t include the procedure line in their templates. After the procedure line is generated, the pathologist can then input a diagnosis, streamlining the overall process while maintaining flexibility in critical areas. With this feature, Voicebrook aims to reduce manual entry, allowing pathologists to focus on delivering accurate diagnoses faster.

No Pause Biopsy Feature

This is a feature our users have been asking for! The No Pause Biopsy feature is tailored specifically for technicians and PAs in the gross room. This feature allows users to dictate only the key variables, and the system will automatically generate the gross description using a standard biopsy format. It’s a game-changer for users handling biopsies regularly, as it removes the need for dictating through a template, which will streamline the process.

Though we’re starting with a standard biopsy format, this feature will help users save time and reduce the cognitive load during busy workflows. While customization options to the formatting won’t be available at launch, this feature is designed to offer reliable, consistent results right out of the box.

What’s Next?

These features represent the latest step in Voicebrook's journey to pioneer Generative AI as a key component of pathology reporting. We’re excited about the potential these tools hold for improving efficiency while maintaining accuracy, and we can’t wait to get them into the hands of users. We appreciate our customers' continued trust as we work to make pathology reporting more precise, easy, and effective.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the release date for our new features! In the meantime, if you'd like a personalized demonstration of Voicebrook's DraftDiagnosis AI feature,  please click here and one of our team members will be in touch to set up a demo.
