None of that requires a pathologist’s training. But all of it consumes a pathologist’s attention and time.

What Cogit Does

• Clinical context, assembled before the case opens: Cogit gathers why the case exists, what a prior biopsy found and what was measured at the bench into one record, so the questions that send pathologists across systems don’t come up.

• Source attribution on everything surfaced: Every piece of context is labeled with its origin — the EHR, the AP/LIS, the digital pathology platform — and every derived value is shown with the basis it came from.

• Protocol completeness tracked in real time: As the pathologist speaks, Cogit identifies the clinical concepts expressed and tracks what the protocol still requires, rather than auditing at sign-out.

• Conflicts surfaced before the report: Where two statements appear inconsistent, Cogit shows the discrepancy and the source of each. The pathologist determines which is correct.

• A report built from the conversation: Generated elements remain editable, and derived values (staging included) are presented for confirmation rather than applied silently.
