Press Release

Voicebrook to Exhibit at the American Pathology Foundation and American Society for Clinical Pathology Annual Meeting

Company will demonstrate leading solution for Pathology reporting at 2015 event, “Beyond the Lab”

Lake Success, NY, October 23, 2015 – Voicebrook, the leading provider of speech recognition and reporting solutions for Pathology, announces that it will be exhibiting at the APF/ASCP annual meeting at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA Oct 28 – Oct 30. “Beyond the Lab” offers educational sessions in business intelligence, human resource planning, lab management, operations, technology, and more along with excellent networking opportunities in the world of Pathology.

Voicebrook will be demonstrating VoiceOver®, its software platform aimed at giving users control over diagnostic reporting. VoiceOver puts users in the driver's seat, offering 100% front-end voice recognition as well as the option of delegated workflow for those who prefer manual transcription. Front-end speech recognition allows for real-time documentation and reporting, removing the wait time associated with traditional transcription workflows and drives a rapid return on investment for Pathologists and PA's.

In addition to its speech recognition input of dictated text, Voicebrook offers a Structured Results Entry (SRE) module that gives users the ability to add structured elements such as pick-lists and auto-populating fields to reports. Voicebrook's SRE application is the only one of its kind to use speech recognition as an input and navigational tool, and it supports the College of American Pathologists (CAP) electronic Cancer Checklist. With its support of CAP's Agile checklist updates, Voicebrook's SRE provides the quickest availability to new content updates and most rapid CAP compliance in the industry.

“We look forward to participating in the first collaboration between the American Pathology Foundation and the ASCP.” Says Bruce Sopko, VP of Sales at Voicebrook. “Combining these two events into one presents a great opportunity for us to reach more of the Pathology community and to share what we are doing with their peers.”
