Here is what you will be doing at Voicebrook:

      • You will own QA end to end for our applications
      • You will be working with a self-organizing Agile/SCRUM team to understand project enhancements or defect fixes and create, organize, and maintain test plans and test cases accordingly
      • You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and performing acceptance, regression, and functional tests and effectively documenting results
      • You will run functional and regression tests to ensure new features/enhancements meet user requirements and are free of major defects
      • You will evaluate and facilitate our transition to more automated testing
      • You will be responsible for working with our development team to reduce manual/repetitive tasks, analyzing design and determine test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution
      • You will consult with product owner and other team members to ensure applications are developed according to specifications in a Scrum environment
      • You will also provide fourth tier product support for internal and external customers, identifying if issue is user error, defect, or system limitation and create defect tickets for development or advise customer support as necessary

Here are some things that describe you:

      • You have 2+ years Software Testing / Quality Assurance experience and proven track record of delivering high quality products
      • Your formal education includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experience
      • You have experience with automated test tools and frameworks
      • You are proficient at writing test cases, writing scripts, unit tests, test execution and defect tracking
      • You have a development background, such as Microsoft .NET framework, C#, HTML, CSS, XML as well as testing these technologies
      • You have working knowledge of SQL
      • You have extensive knowledge of Windows OS and testing client and server applications
      • You have experience working in Agile/Scrum team
      • You are self-motivated and results-driven, with attention to detail.
      • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members and customers
      • You have the ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and work separate projects in a fast-paced and dynamic company environment with extremely tight timelines
      • You have a keen ability to analyze and solve problems both independently or within a cross-functional team environment
      • You’re always hungry to learn new technologies, and applying them to solving problems
      • You’re self-aware, and are continually looking to improve yourself (knowledge, skills, abilities)

Some things that are not required, but may help you perform this job:

      • You have worked in a startup-like environment, wearing multiple hats
      • You have experience with Microsoft Test Manager
      • You have experience with Visual Studio / Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar version control system
      • Experience testing Web applications
