E. Ross Weinstein, CEO
Ross has been the CEO for Voicebrook since its inception in 2002. He has a background in finance and oversees all aspects of Voicebrook's marketing, customer initiation and project delivery and support processes. During a 25-year career, Ross has been involved in all aspects of technology and services sales and delivery to government and healthcare. He has extensive background and contacts within healthcare, government, and ISV organizations. Ross was the founder and Executive Vice President of SpeechEnableIT, the speech recognition division of a New York technology reseller. During his tenure, he was responsible for building and promoting the business unit which specialized in high-level speech recognition application consulting and professional services. Ross was instrumental in all phases of the company's delivery model, and over a two-year period he grew the unit to the most profitable in the company.
Joseph Desiderio, President
Joe is responsible for strategy and business development, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in information technology to Voicebrook. Prior to joining Voicebrook, Joe was a founder of Kopia, a start-up web design and e-business consultancy. Before that, Joe held IT management positions at Sotheby's and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, working with senior management to align technology strategy with business goals, and implementing mission-critical applications. In these positions, Joe was responsible for regional technology planning, introducing information technology as a service differentiator for multinational organizations, and design and implementation of solutions that enhanced the organization's ability to compete in a global marketplace. Joe's broad technology background, and experience implementing solutions in large, complex organizations positions Voicebrook well with large customers and technology partners.
Michael Cipriani, CTO
In his role as CTO, Michael is responsible for developing and executing Voicebrook's industry-leading technology roadmap for pathology report creation. Michael has a diverse background, which includes positions in the healthcare, speech recognition, and technology sectors. Michael's experience as a speech recognition user, product developer, implementation specialist, and IT manager dates back almost 25 years to when he was a Pathologists' Assistant at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY. Michael was instrumental in helping Kurzweil AI develop and market VoicePath, which received a Smithsonian Award for Innovation. Michael has held a number of senior technology positions at NY area hospitals and technology consulting firms, and became the Vice President of Services and Operations for Talk Technology where he helped grow the company prior to its acquisition by Agfa Healthcare.
Richard Friedman, COO
Rich manages Voicebrook's human resources, accounting, and facilities management functions. He brings over 40 years of diverse experience including 20 years of sales, sales management, marketing and 12 years of IT Management. As VP of Sales and Marketing for a temporary help franchise, Rich was instrumental in building the organization to a national presence, at which time it was acquired by a public company. After the acquisition, Rich was given responsibility for the development and start up of the TMR division. As principal sales and marketing executive, Rich developed TMR from a concept to a nationally established service with more than100 offices in 32 states, generating over $80 million in sales revenue. Prior to this, Rich was recruited by Canadian Retail Advertising Agency for help with their expansion into the US. As National Director of New Business Development for Saffer, Cravit & Freedman, Rich was successful in helping the organization gain a foothold in the Eastern US market.
E. Bruce Sopko, VP Sales
Bruce serves as Voicebrook's VP of Sales and participates directly in the acquisition of new clients. Bruce's track record for selling speech solutions into healthcare is second to none. Prior to joining Voicebrook, Bruce was part of Nuance Communications Inc. healthcare division where he was the leading Specialty Division salesperson for seven consecutive years. Before Nuance, Bruce worked for Lernout and Hauspie Speech Products as the Director of Strategic Accounts where he was the top performer for their Clinical Reporter Product lines, which were primarily sold to Pathology and Emergency Medicine departments. Bruce came to L&H through acquisition in 1997 when L&H bought speech recognition pioneer Kurzweil Applied Intelligence. Bruce joined Kurzweil in 1992 and was responsible for selling VoicePATH and VoiceEM. All told Bruce has been involved in healthcare speech recognition applications sales for over 20 years.

Fil leads the client operations and information
technology teams at Voicebrook, with more than 14 years of experience in technology operations. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Fil is focused on continuous improvement of Voicebrook's service delivery and support processes, creating
-- and enforcing -- best practices to exceed customer expectations. Fil also leads Voicebrook's internal Technology Operations and drives the implementation of solutions that enable Voicebrook to increase productivity and collaboration. Prior to joining Voicebrook, he was Director of Technology Operations at Forbes Media where he led the Infrastructure and Support Services teams for a Media company with a global footprint. Prior to that he held multiple roles at St. John's Riverside Hospital where he focused on managing services and support for 23 locations.
Jennifer Mayo, Director, Research & Development
Jenny is responsible for managing Voicebrook's development team, product development portfolio, and the research and application of complementary technologies. She brings more than 20 years of development and management experience with speech recognition, transcription, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining Voicebrook, she co-founded Lexicore, LLC, where she served as Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President and Director of Finance until the company was acquired by AssistMed in 2006. At AssistMed she was the Director of Product Design and Verification and Software Development Manager. Jenny also served as the Director of Development for the Healthcare Solutions Group at Lernout & Hauspie/Kurzweil AI.
